PRODUCT INFO

So now that you have been introduced to the innovative new SLIDEKICKS™ lets dive into the technology & concept behind them. We will break them down and answer all questions. What makes them different? Why are they superior? How do they work? Do they kick up enough spray? Read on...

[ Innovation ]
SLIDEKICKS™ include everything good about traditional scratchers and add innovative and improving features. Combined they result in a much better product. For example, many new snowmobiles come standard with reverse. Traditionally you had to first put up your scratchers, then go in reverse. Let's be honest, how many times did you actually remember to do this? How many bent or broken scratchers have resulted from being driven in reverse? SLIDEKICKS™ solves this. Their durable, yet flexible cable design allow them to safely flex when used in reverse.

SLIDEKICKS™ are made out of durable long lasting materials. The core of their design is the flexible cable. This cable is flexible, strong, and resists wear over long periods of use. They also include a protective clear cover to ensure they can't rust or be damaged. The replaceable wear points are made of hardened materials, that resist wear and last significantly longer than traditional scratchers. If they do wear out, you can purchase just the replaceable tips instead of having to buy a whole new set of scratchers. And finally, they are universally compatible with all snowmobiles. They simply attach to your rails with one bolt. The tip can be hooked onto the inside of your rail.when not in use.

[ Cooling ]
Traditional Scratchers: Provide effective cooling by directing a steady spray of ice and snow into your hyfax and heat exchangers.
SLIDEKICKS: Provide equally effective cooling by directing a steady spray of ice and snow into your hyfax and heat exchangers. The tip chips the snow & ice through downward force provided by the mounting angle & pressure from the cable naturally wanting to straighten itself.

[ Reverse Compatible ]
Traditional Scratchers: NOT COMPATIBLE. Traditional scratchers will bent or break the moment you back your sled up in reverse. This is due to the fact they are made of rigid materials designed to run in a forward motion only. Reserve motion bends traditional scratchers to their breaking point.
SLIDEKICKS: REVERSE COMPATIBLE. SLIDEKICKS flexible cable design, allows them to bend in any direction without breaking. When in reverse they simply bend in the opposite direction the sled is moving. When back in forward movement, they return to their normal running position.

[ Durability & Wear ]
Traditional Scratchers: The rigid metal design of a traditional scratcher, significantly reduces their durability. Numerous common and every day obstacles can easily break or bend traditional scratchers. Rocks, stumps, roads, bridges, trailers, all can catch and break scratchers in an instant. In addition, they do not have replaceable wear points, so as scratchers are used and worn down, they must be replaced in their entirety. Often at least a $50 investment.
SLIDEKICKS: The flexible design of the SLIDEKICKS allow them to flex and bend as needed to safely cross stumps, rocks, and man made objects without damage. Where a traditional scratcher is fixed in one position, the SLIDEKICKS can bent to any angle caused by unexpected objects. SLIDEKICKS also have replaceable wear points. So instead of replacing an entire set of scratchers, you can purchase our inexpensive wear points and replace them as needed. SLIDEKICKS are an investment that will save you money over the long term.

[ Q ] Will SLIDEKICKS produce enough spray for cooling?
SLIDEKICKS have a different, yet effective technique in producing spray to cool your snowmobile. When not in motion, the scratchers stick straight out away from your snowmobile. The 45 degree mounting angle provides the downward pressure to keep the tip on the snow. When in motion, the SLIDEKICKS will be forced back toward your track & skid. The combined downward & backward forces cause the scratchers to constantly chip away at the snow and ice, creating a steady spray aimed at your hyfax and coolers.

[ Q ] How do I install SLIDEKICKS?
SLIDEKICKS are very easy to install. They mount toward the front of your rear skid using one bolt. Many skids already have pre drilled mounting holes. If yours does not, you simply drill one hole where you want to mount your SLIDEKICKS. The tip is then bent back and hooked on the inside of your rails for it's resting position.

[ Q ] Do SLIDEKICKS come with a warranty?
Yes, they are covered by a thirty-(30) day defective materials/workmanship warranty from date of purchase.
